All candidates MUST demonstrate all of the following requirements:


  • Able to run CAT6, coaxial, fiber optics, single and multi-pair audio cables correctly and in an accurate manner.

  • Apply thorough understanding to all cabling systems installations and carry out instructions provided in written, oral and visual forms produced by systems designers/engineers.

  • Solid experience using trade tools, soldering irons, pliers, wire cutters, coaxial strippers, crimpers and other hand-held tools safely.

  • Ability to identify wire color codes.

  • Support Senior Installation Technician(s), Engineers and Project Managers to ensure all installation requirements are met.

  • Exhibit a strong commitment to the company’s Quality Assurance and Integrity Standards.


EXPERIENCE

​Wages are based on experience with the following skills:


  • Pulling copper, fiber optic and network cables

  • Terminating fiber optic and network connectors (XLR, RCA, BNC, CAT5e/6+)

  • Ability with various crimp tools, cable strippers and punch tools
